Beetlemania

I came across galleries of bark beetles in the forest on an island not inhabited by people, I was interested in looking at these patterns and trying to unravel their secret cipher. Soon the bridge to the island was removed for the winter, but the mystery of the bark beetles continued to haunt me. My investigation led me into a labyrinth of archival photographs of forests around the world, footage from various types of cameras, memoirs, newspaper clippings, and popular culture.
