For five years, from 2019 to 2023, I have been visiting the flea market of Rostov-on-Don on Sundays and filmed the counters with my cell phone. The main type of goods at the flea market are things from the Soviet era, which are in high demand. Cult items, household objects, children’s toys and trinkets are all taken out of context and strangely mixed, forming new absurd combinations open to interpretation.
